School Board To Budget for Full Funding by the Borough
The Kenai Peninsula School Board hopes that a good working relationship can be developed between the School Board and the Borough Administration during the budget process. Last year, Borough Mayor Dave Carey wanted to reduce the amount of Borough funding to the School District.

Kards Earn Spot At State Hockey: North Star Conference Hockey Tournament Game Recaps
The Kenai Kardinal hockey team qualified for the state hockey championships on Friday, and battled the Wasilla Warriors for the North Star Conference championship on Saturday at the North Star Conference Hockey Tournament at the Soldotna Sports Center. The Warriors downed Kenai 7-1 for the NSC title.
